Pacioli se sentiria muito confort\u00e1vel com os sistemas cont\u00e1beis que encontramos hoje. Sem d\u00favida, v\u00e1rios instrumentos financeiros o surpreenderiam, mas, uma vez que lhe fosse explicado que simplesmente representam novas formas de cr\u00e9dito a serem lan\u00e7adas no lado direito do balan\u00e7o, ele n\u00e3o teria dificuldade alguma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Enquanto isso, por\u00e9m, o mundo sofreu uma <strong>revolu\u00e7\u00e3o informacional <\/strong>que deveria ter afetado a contabilidade de maneira dram\u00e1tica. Entretanto, tal como aconteceu na Revolu\u00e7\u00e3o Industrial, tem havido uma defasagem entre as inven\u00e7\u00f5es e as aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. Os autores de livros-textos ainda explicam como os d\u00e9bitos ficam \u00e0 esquerda e os cr\u00e9ditos \u00e0 direita, e ensinam aos alunos a t\u00e9cnica de subtra\u00e7\u00e3o por oposi\u00e7\u00e3o que se tornou obsoleta em aritm\u00e9tica tr\u00eas s\u00e9culos atr\u00e1s. A partir da\u00ed, os programadores procuram refletir fielmente essas ideias medievais nas telas dos computadores modernos. <strong>A contabilidade ainda est\u00e1 para tirar proveito das novas inven\u00e7\u00f5es que prometem revolucionar a divulga\u00e7\u00e3o financeira como hoje a conhecemos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Em lugar de razonetes, haver\u00e1 bases de dados das quais os dados financeiros ser\u00e3o apenas uma parte. Uma vers\u00e3o simplificada dessas bases de dados ser\u00e1 transmitida por linha telef\u00f4nica aos usu\u00e1rios para transfer\u00eancia a seus discos compactos, que conter\u00e3o algum pacote gen\u00e9rico de an\u00e1lise, incluindo menus que lhes permitam produzir o tipo de demonstra\u00e7\u00e3o financeira que desejam. As empresas n\u00e3o precisar\u00e3o escolher um m\u00e9todo de reconhecimento de receita, por exemplo, mas ser\u00e3o capazes de <strong>oferecer uma variedade de m\u00e9todos aos acionistas para suas an\u00e1lises<\/strong>. Gr\u00e1ficos din\u00e2micos de todos os tipos estar\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis, permitindo aos usu\u00e1rios que acompanhem visualmente o crescimento da empresa numa tela.
