Ao longo da \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, o mecanismo trouxe diversas mudan\u00e7as na din\u00e2mica de trabalho tanto das empresas quanto do governo e contabilistas brasileiros, rompendo paradigmas e causando uma verdadeira revolu\u00e7\u00e3o nas \u00e1reas fiscal e cont\u00e1bil. Entre as maiores contribui\u00e7\u00f5es do Sped, especialistas destacam a ado\u00e7\u00e3o da nota fiscal eletr\u00f4nica, que potencializou o controle financeiro por parte do Fisco, reduzindo a possibilidade de fraudes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Membro do Conselho Regional de Contabilidade de Minas Gerais (CRC\u00adMG), Ant\u00f4nio Bai\u00e3o de Amorim avalia que o sistema ajudou ainda a desburocratizar o processo de presta\u00e7\u00e3o de contas dos contribuintes aos \u00f3rg\u00e3os fiscalizadores e permitiu o cruzamento dos dados cont\u00e1beis e fiscais, fortalecendo o combate \u00e0 sonega\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O primeiro grande ganho com o Sped foi a nota fiscal eletr\u00f4nica. Antes, as empresas precisavam de uma autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o para a emiss\u00e3o de notas fiscais, depois tinham de mandar fazer as notas em uma gr\u00e1fica credenciada. Havia todo um processo at\u00e9 chegar ao governo. Com a vers\u00e3o eletr\u00f4nica, o governo, que at\u00e9 ent\u00e3o era o \u00faltimo a ter a informa\u00e7\u00e3o do d\u00e9bito ou cr\u00e9dito do imposto, passou a ser o primeiro a ter essa informa\u00e7\u00e3o, o que aumentou bastante o controle por parte do Fisco\u201d, avalia Amorim.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Outro ganho citado pelo conselheiro do CRC\u00adMG com o Sped nos \u00faltimos anos foi a possibilidade de as empresas n\u00e3o precisarem mais manter \u00e1reas para armazenamento dos documentos fiscais, agora todos digitalizados. Com isso, o acesso aos arquivos cont\u00e1beis tamb\u00e9m se tornou bem mais facilitado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Custos<\/strong> \u00ad<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As melhorias, no entanto, resultaram em mais custos para as institui\u00e7\u00f5es, na medida em que v\u00e1rias precisaram despender recursos em tecnologia, na contrata\u00e7\u00e3o do certificado digital e treinamento de pessoal, al\u00e9m de repensar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o com a contabilidade.
