Com isso, a petroleira amargou um preju\u00edzo de R$ 16,458 bilh\u00f5es no terceiro trimestre, uma surpresa para analistas. O resultado negativo \u00e9 mais que\u00a0quatro vezes superior aos R$ 3,759 bilh\u00f5es registrados no terceiro trimestre de 2015 e o terceiro maior preju\u00edzo trimestral da hist\u00f3ria da petroleira.<\/p>\n<p>O principal vil\u00e3o dos resultados financeiros da Petrobr\u00e1s no per\u00edodo foi uma baixa cont\u00e1bil (impairment) de R$ 15,709 bilh\u00f5es. Baixas do tipo s\u00e3o feitas quando uma companhia calcula que n\u00e3o poder\u00e1 recuperar o valor de ativos.
