O PL \u00e9 resultado do trabalho denominado \u201cDez Medidas Contra a Corrup\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, de autoria do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico Federal, e que foi protocolado na C\u00e2mara dos Deputados respaldado por mais de dois milh\u00f5es de assinaturas recolhidas por todo o Pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Em sua explana\u00e7\u00e3o Rachid disse que o PL trata de tema muito importante para a sociedade, que \u00e9 o combate \u00e0 corrup\u00e7\u00e3o. Mas sugeriu que o mesmo tratamento seja dado aos crimes de sonega\u00e7\u00e3o fiscal: \u201cEntendemos que h\u00e1 uma correla\u00e7\u00e3o muito forte entre corrup\u00e7\u00e3o e sonega\u00e7\u00e3o. Ambos geram preju\u00edzos para a na\u00e7\u00e3o, e por isso deveriam ter penas equivalentes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>O secret\u00e1rio destacou o trabalho da Receita Federal, lembrando que \u201co \u00f3rg\u00e3o \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel por quase 70 % da arrecada\u00e7\u00e3o do pa\u00eds\u201d. Falou tamb\u00e9m do trabalho de controle aduaneiro: \u201cPor exemplo, 95% por cento de tudo que entrou no pa\u00eds nas Olimp\u00edadas, incluindo pessoas e mercadorias, passaram pelos controles do \u00f3rg\u00e3o\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A integra\u00e7\u00e3o entre os \u00f3rg\u00e3os de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m foi lembrada pelo secret\u00e1rio. Segundo ele, a Receita Federal vem atuando fortemente com outras institui\u00e7\u00f5es.
