Forma\u00e7\u00e3o acad\u00eamica ou espec\u00edfica para o mercado de trabalho? Seja ao terminar uma faculdade ou depois de alguns anos trabalhando \u00e9 dif\u00edcil encontrar quem nunca teve essa d\u00favida ao pensar no tipo de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o ideal para carreira.<\/p>\n

Especializa\u00e7\u00f5es, mestrados acad\u00eamicos, doutorados, mestrados profissionais e MBA (Master of Business Administration, em ingl\u00eas) est\u00e3o dentro do mesmo “pacote” da p\u00f3s. Por isso, antes de investir seu tempo \u2013 e dinheiro em alguns casos \u2013 \u00e9 importante entender bem qual a finalidade de cada modalidade.<\/p>\n

O ponto de partida \u00e9 compreender que no Brasil as forma\u00e7\u00f5es fazem parte de duas divis\u00f5es: Lato Sensu (sentido amplo) e Stricto Sensu (sentido mais restrito). A primeira engloba os cursos de especializa\u00e7\u00e3o e MBA, regulados pela Sesu (Secretaria de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Superior). J\u00e1 a segunda integra os mestrados e doutorado, avaliado pela Capes (Coordena\u00e7\u00e3o de Aperfei\u00e7oamento de Pessoal de N\u00edvel Superior).<\/p>\n

Especializa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/b><\/p>\n

Os cursos s\u00e3o voltados para a atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o de conhecimentos em \u00e1reas espec\u00edficas do mercado de trabalho. Por isso, a especializa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 uma boa para quem quer se aprofundar no segmento em que trabalha ou quem quer mudar de carreira.<\/p>\n

Vale lembrar que pelo menos 50% dos professores do corpo docente devem ter t\u00edtulo de mestre ou de doutor. Os demais devem possuir, no m\u00ednimo, diplomas de especializa\u00e7\u00e3o. A dura\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00ednima \u00e9 de 360 horas.<\/p>\n

Existe um portal do MEC (Minist\u00e9rio da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o) que oferece informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre as institui\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino superior credenciadas e os cursos autorizados: http:\/\/emec.mec.gov.br<\/a>.<\/p>\n

MBA<\/b><\/p>\n

S\u00e3o cursos de especializa\u00e7\u00e3o na \u00e1rea de administra\u00e7\u00e3o voltados para a pr\u00e1tica profissional. Se voc\u00ea j\u00e1 est\u00e1 no mercado de trabalho h\u00e1 algum tempo, pode ser um bom investimento – j\u00e1 que em geral s\u00e3o cursos pagos.<\/p>\n

A regra tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 que pelo menos 50% dos professores do corpo docente devem ter t\u00edtulo de mestre ou de doutor. Os demais devem possuir, no m\u00ednimo, diplomas de especializa\u00e7\u00f5es. A dura\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 de no m\u00ednimo de 360 horas.<\/p>\n

No MBA, o mundo corporativo \u00e9 o centro da forma\u00e7\u00e3o.
\n
\n<\/b>Mestrado profissional<\/b><\/p>\n

A modalidade tem foco no ensino e na pesquisa, mas o vi\u00e9s \u00e9 menos te\u00f3rico do que no mestrado acad\u00eamico. O objetivo \u00e9 imergir o p\u00f3s-graduando no universo das pesquisas.<\/p>\n

Recomenda-se que o curso n\u00e3o seja feito logo ap\u00f3s a conclus\u00e3o da gradua\u00e7\u00e3o. O ideal \u00e9 que o estudante tenha maturidade profissional para aproveitar melhor a forma\u00e7\u00e3o, segundo a Capes. A dura\u00e7\u00e3o varia entre 12 e 24 meses.<\/p>\n

No fim do curso, o aluno pode continuar como pesquisador ou atuar no mercado tendo uma vis\u00e3o “mais cient\u00edfica”<\/p>\n

Mestrado Acad\u00eamico<\/b><\/p>\n

O objetivo \u00e9 formar pesquisadores e\/ou professores. Se voc\u00ea deseja trabalhar com ensino ou pesquisas, o mestrado \u00e9 a forma\u00e7\u00e3o ideal.<\/p>\n

Os mestrandos s\u00e3o avaliados por meio de disserta\u00e7\u00f5es, que apresentam estudos aprofundados sobre um tema existente. Ao ser aprovado (a), recebe a titula\u00e7\u00e3o de mestre.<\/p>\n

A Capes disponibiliza um sistema em que voc\u00ea pode pesquisar linhas de pesquisa, docentes, projetos existentes, entre outras coisas: https:\/\/sucupira.capes.gov.br\/sucupira\/public\/index.jsf<\/a><\/p>\n

Doutorado<\/b><\/p>\n

Professores e\/ou pesquisadores t\u00eam no doutorado a possibilidade de melhorar ainda mais o curr\u00edculo. A sequ\u00eancia mais comum \u00e9 o aluno que se tornou mestre seguir nos estudos e concluir a modalidade. No entanto, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel que uma pessoa “pule” de n\u00edvel e se torne doutor sem ter sido mestre. Basta que ela tenha tido um excelente desempenho acad\u00eamico e o professor (a), que ir\u00e1 orientar a pesquisa, aceite.<\/p>\n
