O jornal da Tribuna da Bahia de hoje destacou que o “Projeto da Fiol segue em execu\u00e7\u00e3o e vai viabilizar integra\u00e7\u00e3o da Am\u00e9rica do Sul<\/strong><\/a>“.<\/span><\/p>\n

A mat\u00e9ria destaca ainda que a ferrovia tornar\u00e1 mais r\u00e1pido e barato o escoamento da produ\u00e7\u00e3o baiana de min\u00e9rios e gr\u00e3os.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Ferrovia de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o Oeste-Leste<\/a> (FIOL) interligar\u00e1 as regi\u00f5es Norte e Nordeste do Brasil. Ser\u00e3o aproximadamente 1500 quil\u00f4metros de Figueir\u00f3polis, em Tocantins, at\u00e9 Ilh\u00e9us, no litoral baiano. A constru\u00e7\u00e3o da ferrovia visa a atender, principalmente, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de gr\u00e3os do Oeste da Bahia e a explora\u00e7\u00e3o de min\u00e9rio de ferro, t\u00edpica da regi\u00e3o de Caetit\u00e9, na \u00e1rea central do estado. A ferrovia dever\u00e1, em breve, substituir parte do transporte de carga realizado hoje atrav\u00e9s das rodovias. A FIOL foi subdividida em trechos, conhecidos como lotes de constru\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anteriormente o jornal Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo apontou que a “Ferrovia Bioce\u00e2nica pode ser sa\u00edda para viabilizar a Fiol<\/a><\/strong>“, destacando que os “chineses, principais interessados no projeto,\u00a0 pediram informa\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0\u00a0 estatal federal\u00a0 Valec sobre a\u00a0 constru\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0 da Fiol, seu tra\u00e7ado e a previs\u00e3o de ligar sua malha \u00e0 Ferrovia Norte-Sul<\/em>“.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
