KPMG, Ernst &amp; Young, Deloitte e Pricewaterhouse v\u00eam montando grandes equipes para assessorar empresas brasileiras no processo de convers\u00e3o das demonstra\u00e7\u00f5es financeiras \u00e0s IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), modelo j\u00e1 adotado por 107 pa\u00edses e que ser\u00e1 obrigat\u00f3rio a partir de 2010 para bancos e companhias listadas na Bolsa paulista.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><br \/>O racioc\u00ednio das chamadas &#8220;Big Four&#8221; \u00e9 simples: h\u00e1 muito trabalho a fazer num prazo relativamente curto. Isso porque o Iasb (\u00f3rg\u00e3o independente sediado em Londres, respons\u00e1vel pela emiss\u00e3o das normas IFRS) exige que o primeiro relat\u00f3rio oficial tenha os dados pro-forma do exerc\u00edcio anterior, as empresas nacionais ter\u00e3o que estar prontas j\u00e1 no in\u00edcio de 2009. Assim, especialistas acreditam que o ano que vem ser\u00e1 marcado pela corrida das companhias para se aprontarem a tempo. &#8220;A convers\u00e3o cont\u00e1bil pode levar at\u00e9 18 meses&#8221;, afirma S\u00e9rgio Romani, s\u00f3cio da \u00e1rea de auditoria da Ernst.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo ele, essa transi\u00e7\u00e3o tende a ser menos traum\u00e1tica para as companhias brasileiras com ADRs listados nas bolsas dos EUA, j\u00e1 que s\u00e3o obrigadas a apresentar seus balan\u00e7os em US Gaap, padr\u00e3o americano que tem muitas semelhan\u00e7as com o IFRS. Mas essa \u00e9 a realidade de apenas 34 das mais de 450 empresas da Bovespa. &#8220;As demais v\u00e3o descobrir que o IFRS \u00e9 um padr\u00e3o muito mais minucioso, que exige um volume de informa\u00e7\u00f5es at\u00e9 50% maior do que elas apresentam hoje e que a maioria nem sabe como apurar&#8221;, alerta Romani.
