Al\u00e9m disso, a alta do indicador de sentimento econ\u00f4mico (ESI) na Uni\u00e3o Europeia e na regi\u00e3o da Zona do Euro tamb\u00e9m animou os investidores. O CAC-40 da Bolsa de Paris teve alta de 2,16%. Em Frankfurt, o DAX subiu 2,11%. E em Londres, o FTSE-100 avan\u00e7ou 2,27%.<\/p>\n<p>Em Madri e Mil\u00e3o, os \u00edndices subiram 2,72% e 2,20%, respectivamente. No \u00e2mbito corporativo, o banco espanhol Santander registrou lucro l\u00edquido de \u20ac 2,096 bilh\u00f5es (US$ 2,779 bilh\u00f5es) entre janeiro e mar\u00e7o deste ano, o que representa uma queda de 5% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao primeiro trimestre de 2008.Apesar do recuo, o resultado est\u00e1 acima das estimativas. Por sua vez, a Siemens, maior companhia de engenharia do mundo, reportou ganho acima do esperado depois de acelerar um programa de cortes de custos. O lucro l\u00edquido chegou a \u20ac 1,013 bilh\u00e3o (US$ 1,3 bilh\u00e3o), n\u00famero 146% maior do que os \u20ac 412 milh\u00f5es do segundo trimestre do ano fiscal de 2009, iniciado em outubro.<\/p>\n<p>Os agentes do mercado repercutiram ainda o indicador de sentimento econ\u00f4mico (ESI) na UE e na regi\u00e3o da Zona do Euro, que subiu pela primeira vez em dois anos (salvo uma alta na UE em mar\u00e7o de 2008). Na Uni\u00e3o Europeia, o indicador cresceu 3,5 pontos, para 63,9 pontos.
