Existem v\u00e1rias dimens\u00f5es de pe\u00e7as e de formas, e todas as arestas possuem dentes \u00e0s quais se encaixam qualquer outra pe\u00e7a m\u00f3vel. Para us\u00e1-lo, tens de ter uma folha de papel onde \u00e9 colocado sobre um suporte de cart\u00e3o, e uma das pe\u00e7as pl\u00e1sticas \u00e9 fixada no papel e no cart\u00e3o. Outra pe\u00e7a de pl\u00e1stico est\u00e1 colocada de modo que os seus dentes possam encaixar na pe\u00e7a fixa. Existem muitas combina\u00e7\u00f5es poss\u00edveis. A ponta de uma caneta \u00e9 colocada em um dos furos da pe\u00e7a em movimento.
