{"id":2414,"date":"2009-08-05T20:19:00","date_gmt":"2009-08-05T20:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alcantara.pro.br\/portal\/2009\/08\/05\/acordo-fraude-contabil-da-ge-x-sec\/"},"modified":"2009-08-05T20:19:00","modified_gmt":"2009-08-05T20:19:00","slug":"acordo-fraude-contabil-da-ge-x-sec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alcantara.pro.br\/portal\/2009\/08\/05\/acordo-fraude-contabil-da-ge-x-sec\/","title":{"rendered":"Acordo: Fraude Contab\u00edl da GE x SEC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family:arial;font-size:130%;color:#000000;\"><strong>GE paga US$ 50 milh\u00f5es para encerrar processo de fraude cont\u00e1bil<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:arial;color:#000000;\">A General Electric (GE) concordou em pagar US$ 50 milh\u00f5es para a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), \u00f3rg\u00e3o regulador do mercado de capitais dos Estados Unidos, para encerrar um processo em que era acusada de cometer fraudes cont\u00e1beis nos balan\u00e7os de 2002 e 2003.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;color:#000000;\">Ao assinar o acordo com a SEC, a empresa n\u00e3o assume que cometeu as irregularidades apontadas pelo \u00f3rg\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;color:#000000;\">Segundo investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da CVM americana, a GE teria enganado os investidores ao publicar dados falsos nos seus demonstrativos financeiros. O \u00f3rg\u00e3o regulador diz que a companhia, uma das maiores do mundo, &#8220;usou m\u00e9todos cont\u00e1beis impr\u00f3prios para aumentar os ganhos ou receitas a fim de evitar publicar resultados financeiros negativos&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;color:#000000;\">Entre os quatro problemas apontados pela SEC na investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, a GE teria contabilizado vendas n\u00e3o conclu\u00eddas de locomotivas no fim de 2002 e 2003, para acelerar a apura\u00e7\u00e3o de US$ 370 milh\u00f5es em receita.
