Ele disse que os investidores n\u00e3o conseguiram alegar fatos suficientes em sua queixa que mostrassem que os auditores tiveram a inten\u00e7\u00e3o de &#8220;enganar, manipular ou fraudar&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Os investidores tentaram responsabilizar os auditores por eles n\u00e3o terem detectado a enorme fraude cometida por Madoff, n\u00e3o os notificando sobre os riscos associados aos fundos gerenciados por Madoff e n\u00e3o se enquadrando nos padr\u00f5es profissionais de auditoria que teriam revelado o esquema de pir\u00e2mide de Madoff.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Os auditores nunca estiveram envolvidos na auditoria dos neg\u00f3cios de Madoff nem emitiram opini\u00f5es nas demonstra\u00e7\u00f5es financeiras&#8221; da firma de Madoff, escreveu Griesa, em uma opini\u00e3o de 19 p\u00e1ginas.<\/p>\n<p>O processo tamb\u00e9m cita a Tremont, administradora de fundos de hedge controlada pela Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance.
