As quatro grandes empresas de auditoria (PwC, Ernst &amp; Young, KPMG e Deloitte) dominam o setor e uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da Casa dos Lordes procura verificar o papel do oligop\u00f3lio na crise financeira.<\/p>\n<p>Esta discuss\u00e3o pode afetar a forma como as empresas de auditoria s\u00e3o organizadas, segundo informou Sanderson. E a quest\u00e3o tem sido acompanhada de perto por reguladores dos Estados Unidos e \u00c1sia. Esta quest\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 recente, mas no passado nenhuma medida incomodou as denominadas Big Four. Estas empresas possuem 96% das contas das multinacionais que fazem parte do FTSE 350.<\/p>\n<p>Um relat\u00f3rio apontou que apenas 2,1% das empresas que comp\u00f5e o \u00edndice FTSE 100 mudaram de auditoria a cada ano, no per\u00edodo compreendido entre 1996 a 2004.
