Nada mais enganoso. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crainsdetroit.com\/article\/20150322\/NEWS\/303229999\/most-accounting-firms-changed-form-since-1985\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A seguir a lista<\/a> de algumas empresas e das 15 maiores, somente dois continuam a existir na sua forma original.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">No. 1: Coopers &amp; Lybrand juntou-se com Price Waterhouse (ent&atilde;o No. 7) em 1998 para criar a PricewaterhouseCoopers;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">No. 2: Touche Ross &amp; Co. foi adquirida em 1989 pela Deloitte Haskins &amp; Sells (ent&atilde;o No. 8) para formar a Deloitte &amp; Touche, agora Deloitte;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">No. 3: Arthur Andersen &amp; Co. faliu em 2001&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">No. 4: Arthur Young &amp; Co. juntou-se com a Ernst &amp; Whinney (No. 6) em 1989 para formar a Ernst &amp; Young, hoje EY;<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">No. 5: Plante &amp; Moran, manteve-se a mesma empresa<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">No. 9: Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co. &eacute; agora a KPMG depois da fus&atilde;o com a Klynveld Main Goerdeler em 1987;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">No. 10: Alexander Grant &amp; Co. juntou-se com outras 49 empresas, incluindo a empresa brit&acirc;nica Thornton Baker, em 1980 para formar a Grant Thornton International.
