\tO crescimento da presença das empresas brasileiras no mercado financeiro internacional está revolucionado o perfil dos contadores no país. Além de aumentar a demanda, o novo cenário pede profissionais com um perfil mais estratégico e voltado para o mundo dos negócios. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\tIsso significa que a imagem de senhores sisudos que passam o dia atrás de uma calculadora científica e de uma montanha de formulários não cola mais com essa carreira. "O profissional de contabilidade deixou de ser tecnicista", afirma Edgar Cornachione, professor da Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade da Universidade de São Paulo (FEA\/USP). <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\tOs executivos das principais empresas brasileiras confirmam isso. Segundo pesquisa da consultoria Robert Half divulgada em julho, 96% das companhias brasileiras admitem que os profissionais de contabilidade tornaram-se peças centrais para a tomada de decisões.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\t <\/div>\n
\tDe acordo com especialistas, o aquecimento da economia e o crescimento da participação brasileira no mercado internacional são os principais fatores para essa mudança nos rumos da profissão. "A competição está mais acirrada. Isso faz com que a empresa fique mais pressionada pelo mercado", diz Edilene Santana Santos professora da Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo da Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-EAESP).<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\t <\/div>\n
\tNesse novo cenário, as companhias estão mais cautelosas durante os processos decisórios. E, por conta disso, cresce a demanda por profissionais capazes de analisar todas as variáveis em questão.  <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\t <\/div>\n
\tO pesquisador da USP exemplifica isso com situações de compra de ativos pela empresa. Segundo ele, antes, o contador era chamado para apenas registrar a operação. "Hoje, ele participa da decisão junto com os outros gestores", diz. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
