Segundo a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o americana de jornalismo investigativo Politico, o Fisco analisou posts de grupos n\u00e3o alinhados ao governo democrata, numa tentativa de limitar as vozes contr\u00e1rias durante as elei\u00e7\u00f5es presidenciais do ano passado &#8211; exatamente o per\u00edodo em que aumentaram reclama\u00e7\u00f5es contra as revis\u00f5es feitas pelo \u00f3rg\u00e3o.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">O Fisco tamb\u00e9m pediu para saber que livros os conservadores estavam lendo, mostrando que a minuciosa e controversa investiga\u00e7\u00e3o ultrapassou a busca por dados confidenciais e examinou tamb\u00e9m as informa\u00e7\u00f5es pessoais.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">O Politico teve acesso a documentos, examinados pelo Fisco em 2012, de 11 membros do Tea Party e de outros grupos conservadores examinaram que mostram que o IRS (Receita Federal dos EUA) queria saber absolutamente tudo sobre eles \u2013 at\u00e9 mesmo o que estavam pensando. Eles tinham c\u00f3pias dos sites, blogs e postagens em redes sociais dos conservadores, que temiam ser punidos por algum tweet ou post no Facebook.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">O relat\u00f3rio do inspetor-geral do Tesouro americano divulgado na ter\u00e7a-feira mostra que o pr\u00f3prio Fisco decidiu sobre as quest\u00f5es abusivas a que foram submetidos membros dos grupos conservadores. O documento n\u00e3o conclui que a pr\u00e1tica era inapropriada, preferindo dizer que era errado o crit\u00e9rio de sele\u00e7\u00e3o usado para identificar as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es que seriam alvo de escrut\u00ednio. O texto culpa falhas de gest\u00e3o no Fisco pela persegui\u00e7\u00e3o aos grupos conservadores.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Segundo o relat\u00f3rio, mais da metade dos grupos que foram selecionados para fornecer mais informa\u00e7\u00f5es tiveram de passar dados \u201cdesnecess\u00e1rios\u201d, como o nome de doadores e \u201co tipo de conversas e discuss\u00f5es de membros e participantes\u201d durante as reuni\u00f5es da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o. Foram pedidos os curr\u00edculos dos mais altos membros dos grupos e descri\u00e7\u00f5es de suas entrevistas \u00e0 imprensa. Um deles disse que foi obrigado a dizer at\u00e9 quantos minutos duravam as reuni\u00f5es do conselho do grupo.
