Em paralelo, outros pa&iacute;ses tamb&eacute;m est&atilde;o desenvolvendo um apetite voraz por essa fonte &ndash; seja para alcan&ccedil;ar seguran&ccedil;a energ&eacute;tica ou para diminuir a press&atilde;o sobre combust&iacute;veis f&oacute;sseis. &Eacute; o caso dos Emirados &Aacute;rabes, Indon&eacute;sia e at&eacute; do Brasil, que voltou a discutir a instala&ccedil;&atilde;o de novas usinas nucleares.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">N&atilde;o &eacute; s&oacute; a demanda que cresce. O estoque de ur&acirc;nio, mat&eacute;ria-prima necess&aacute;ria para gerar energia em reatores nucleares, aumentou 12,5% entre 2008 e 2010, para 7,8 bilh&otilde;es de toneladas. <strong>E o Brasil &eacute; um dos que lidera em novas descobertas. Para se ter uma ideia, as reservas nacionais de ur&acirc;nio cresceram 357%, entre 2001 e 2011, segundo dados do World Nuclear<\/strong>.
