\"\"O Departamento de Finan\u00e7as do Canad\u00e1 anunciou a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o tempor\u00e1ria de uma isen\u00e7\u00e3o do imposto sobre bens e servi\u00e7os\/imposto sobre vendas harmonizado (GST\/HST) para canadenses, v\u00e1lida por dois meses, no per\u00edodo de 14 de dezembro de 2024 a 15 de fevereiro de 2025, com aplica\u00e7\u00e3o para diversas prov\u00edncias.<\/p>\n

No site oficial a medida foi noticiada associada ao seu objetivo : “Mais dinheiro no seu bolso: uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de impostos para todos os canadenses<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

A isen\u00e7\u00e3o proposta alcan\u00e7a diversos grupos de produtos como: Vestu\u00e1rio infantil, fraldas infantis, cadeiras de carro para crian\u00e7as, jornais impressos, livros impressos, \u00e1rvores de Natal ou \u00e1rvores decorativas semelhantes, alimentos ou bebidas, brinquedos infantis selecionados, quebra-cabe\u00e7as para todas as idades e consoles de videogame, controles ou m\u00eddia f\u00edsica de jogos. Mais dinheiro nos bolsos dos canadenses<\/strong><\/p>\n

A remo\u00e7\u00e3o do GST desses produtos qualificados por dois meses proporcionar\u00e1 um al\u00edvio fiscal federal estimado em\u00a0<\/strong>US$ 1,6 bilh\u00e3o<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Uma fam\u00edlia que gasta US$ 2.000 em bens qualificados, como roupas infantis, sapatos e brinquedos, fraldas, livros, lanches para a casa ou refei\u00e7\u00f5es em restaurantes, economizaria US$ 100 em GST no per\u00edodo de dois meses.<\/p>\n

Em prov\u00edncias onde o HST tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e1 removido de bens qualificados (Ont\u00e1rio, Newfoundland e Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick e Prince Edward Island), mais economias seriam realizadas. Em Ont\u00e1rio, a mesma cesta de compras qualificadas de $ 2.000 realiza economias de HST de $ 260 ao longo do per\u00edodo de dois meses.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

E no Brasil?<\/strong> Ainda n\u00e3o sabemos se no Brasil o governo federal e governos estaduais e municipais anunciar\u00e3o isen\u00e7\u00e3o tempor\u00e1ria semelhante ao concedido no Canad\u00e1. Entretanto, caso seja mantido o padr\u00e3o de anos anteriores, talvez alguns Estados prorrogar\u00e3o\/parcelar\u00e3o o ICMS apurado relativo \u00e0s opera\u00e7\u00f5es do m\u00eas de dezembro.<\/p>\n
