{"id":1321,"date":"2012-09-24T22:59:39","date_gmt":"2012-09-25T01:59:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alcantara.pro.br\/portal\/2012\/09\/24\/vale-e-a-unica-que-ainda-usa-padrao-dos-eua\/"},"modified":"2012-09-24T22:59:39","modified_gmt":"2012-09-25T01:59:39","slug":"vale-e-a-unica-que-ainda-usa-padrao-dos-eua","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alcantara.pro.br\/portal\/2012\/09\/24\/vale-e-a-unica-que-ainda-usa-padrao-dos-eua\/","title":{"rendered":"Vale \u00e9 a \u00fanica que ainda usa padr\u00e3o dos EUA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Entre as 27 empresas brasileiras com a&ccedil;&otilde;es negociadas em bolsas de Nova York, a mineradora Vale &eacute; a &uacute;nica que segue usando o padr&atilde;o cont&aacute;bil americano, conhecido como US Gaap, no documento anual de informa&ccedil;&otilde;es (20-F) entregue para a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), a comiss&atilde;o de valores mobili&aacute;rios americana.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Todas as outras passaram a usar o modelo internacional IFRS, conforme permitido pelo regulador americano desde o fim de 2007 para empresas estrangeiras.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/best-cpa-accountant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/gaap_firs-300x297.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"177\" src=\"http:\/\/best-cpa-accountant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/gaap_firs.jpg\" style=\"float: left;\" width=\"179\" \/><\/a>Ao apresentarem o balan&ccedil;o de 2011 no 20-F entregue este ano, foi a vez de Petrobras, Ita&uacute; e Bradesco se juntarem &agrave;s demais empresas brasileiras, que j&aacute; tinham decidido abandonar o US Gaap.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">A maioria das empresas nacionais passou a usar apenas o IFRS j&aacute; para o balan&ccedil;o de 2010, entregue no ano passado. Aquele tamb&eacute;m foi o primeiro exerc&iacute;cio em que todas as companhias do Brasil adotaram obrigatoriamente o conjunto integral de normas cont&aacute;beis internacionais.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Procurada pelo Valor, a SEC informou que mais de 300 empresas, de um total de 965 emissores estrangeiros registrados, j&aacute; est&atilde;o usando o padr&atilde;o internacional.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">A Vale foi questionada sobre a decis&atilde;o de manter a divulga&ccedil;&atilde;o em US Gaap e se isso teria rela&ccedil;&atilde;o com o fato de a norma cont&aacute;bil do IFRS sobre ind&uacute;stria extrativa ainda estar em discuss&atilde;o. Por meio de nota, a mineradora negou que a decis&atilde;o tenha rela&ccedil;&atilde;o com isso e ressaltou que tamb&eacute;m traduz o balan&ccedil;o em IFRS envia para a SEC, ou seja, divulga nos dois padr&otilde;es tamb&eacute;m nos Estados Unidos. &quot;A nossa avalia&ccedil;&atilde;o foi que os nossos investidores estavam mais acostumados com o modelo US Gaap e precisavam de tempo para se familiarizar com o novo modelo&quot;, afirmou a companhia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Sem marcar data, a Vale diz, no entanto, que a tend&ecirc;ncia &eacute; que no futuro fique s&oacute; com o IFRS.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Ren&ecirc; Coppe Pimentel, coordenador acad&ecirc;mico do MBA Rela&ccedil;&otilde;es com Investidores da Fipecafi e do Ibri, diz que grandes empresas e bancos chegam a ter equipes com 15 a 20 pessoas s&oacute; para atender regras ligadas &agrave; contabilidade internacional e formul&aacute;rios da SEC. &quot;&Eacute; bastante clara a economia de custo para a empresa&quot;, afirma, sobre as companhias que ficaram com um &uacute;nico balan&ccedil;o.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">As empresas, por sua vez, at&eacute; admitem que existe redu&ccedil;&atilde;o de gastos, mas garantem que esse n&atilde;o foi o principal fator que determinou a decis&atilde;o de ficar apenas com o IFRS.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">&quot;Se tem um processo a menos, tem uma redu&ccedil;&atilde;o de custo. Mas &eacute; a homogeneidade da informa&ccedil;&atilde;o que faz uma diferen&ccedil;a enorme. Se tiver um conjunto de princ&iacute;pios que levam a n&uacute;meros diferentes, isso gera desinforma&ccedil;&atilde;o&quot;, afirma Rog&eacute;rio Calderon, diretor de controladoria do Ita&uacute;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Alexsandro Broedel, diretor de controle financeiro do banco, acrescenta que a busca pela converg&ecirc;ncia tamb&eacute;m pode ser vista no balan&ccedil;o brasileiro, que segue as regras do Banco Central. &quot;No que as que as normas locais permitem que se siga o IFRS, como em instrumentos financeiros, a gente aproxima&quot;, afirma.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Em nota, a Petrobras disse que a decis&atilde;o n&atilde;o se deveu apenas a custos, mas para evitar o uso de dois padr&otilde;es e para a seguir a tend&ecirc;ncia mundial de uso do IFRS.
