\tNos últimos anos, as empresas e a contabilidade têm sido influenciadas pela incidência de novas tecnologias e de racionalização dos custos. Os assuntos ambientais estão crescendo para a comunidade de negócios em responsabilidade social e ambiental. A procura de produtos que atendam ações sustentáveis cresce demasiadamente. A cada dia, a sociedade tem cobrado mais e mais envolvimento<\/span> das empresas nas questões relacionadas ao meio ambiente. Cuidar do planeta é mais do que uma necessidade. É obrigação. Se não tratarmos da natureza agora, não precisaremos mais cuidar depois, simplesmente porque não teremos mais com o que nos preocupar. É com este ponto que muitas organizações passaram a divulgar informações de sua performance contábil, econômica e financeira, e os dados ambientais de suas atividades. <\/span><\/div>\n
\t <\/div>\n
\tMas qual é a relação existente entre a contabilidade e as questões socioambientais? Em princípio, não há nenhuma analogia direta no que diz respeito aos aspectos sociais e ambientais e o cenário contábil. Atualmente, as organizações evidenciam seus aspectos do meio ambiente voluntariamente, sem nenhuma implicação de natureza societária ou fiscal. Contudo, essa é uma prática crescente entre todas as organizações por ser considerada a melhor forma de responder às mudanças  estruturais e estabelecer um diálogo mais transparente com fornecedores e clientes. A cada dia, a tendência é que mais empresas incluam, em seus relatórios, todos os dados relacionados ao meio ambiente, fac<\/span>ilitando assim o acesso desta informação a um grande número de usuários. O profissional da contabilidade diante deste cenário tem uma missão: conscientizar o empresário da importância da divulgação dos impactos financeiros gerados pelas ações sócio-ambientais através dos relatórios.<\/span><\/div>\n
