Usando como par&acirc;metro o valor de mercado das empresas com a&ccedil;&otilde;es negociadas na bolsa, procurou-se verificar se os &iacute;ndices tradicionalmente usados na an&aacute;lise de balan&ccedil;os. Depois de defendida <a href=\"http:\/\/contabilidadefinanceira.blogspot.com\/2010\/12\/qual-importancia-da-analise-de-balancos.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sua tese<\/a>, a pesquisa agora &eacute; publicada na <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.furb.br\/ojs\/index.php\/universocontabil\/article\/view\/2309\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">revista Universo Cont&aacute;bil:<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\t<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><\/p>\n<p> \t\t<em><strong>[RESUMO] Este artigo investiga se a An&aacute;lise Financeira Fundamentalista (AFF) &eacute; capaz de segregar grupos de melhores e piores alternativas de investimentos a partir da previs&atilde;o de varia&ccedil;&otilde;es do valor de mercado das empresas n&atilde;o-financeiras listadas na Bolsa de Valores de S&atilde;o Paulo (BOVESPA).<\/strong> As amostras do estudo correspondem a 2\/3 das empresas com dados dispon&iacute;veis no banco de dados da Econom&aacute;tica nos anos de 2005, 2006 e 2007, e est&atilde;o divididas em dois grupos: Perdedoras e Vencedoras. Foram selecionados 23 &Iacute;ndices Econ&ocirc;mico-Financeiros (IEF) tradicionais, comumente utilizados por analistas e pesquisadores nas avalia&ccedil;&otilde;es de oportunidades de investimento. O tratamento econom&eacute;trico dos dados foi realizado com o uso da Regra do Qui-quadrado M&iacute;nimo e da An&aacute;lise Discriminante. Constatou-se que um n&uacute;mero bastante reduzido de IEF apresentou signific&acirc;ncia estat&iacute;stica &agrave; diferencia&ccedil;&atilde;o entre as empresas integrantes das amostras.
