\tA evolução das tecnologias da informação e da comunicação é uma das principais armas que os fiscos de todo o mundo contam para combater a sonegação de impostos pelas pessoas ou empresas. O uso de ferramentas de alta performance permite às autoridades fiscais realizar cruzamentos de dados e de informações para apurar eventuais inconsistências nas prestações de contas feitas pelos contribuintes.<\/p>\n

\tÉ interessante perceber que vivemos atualmente um verdadeiro Big Brother Fiscal, pois o fisco está muito à frente da maioria das empresas no que se refere ao uso das tecnologias para assegurar que os contribuintes estão pagando corretamente os tributos a que são sujeitos.<\/p>\n

\tNo Brasil, a Receita Federal conta hoje com um supercomputador apelidado de T-Rex, em referência ao temido Tiranossauro Rex, que imperou entre os dinossauros no período Cretáceo, e um software de inteligência denominado Harpia, uma das maiores e mais eficientes aves caçadoras de nossa fauna, capazes de realizar em segundos milhões de cruzamentos de informações para apurar eventuais inconsistências fiscais.<\/p>\n

\tO equipamento auxilia os agentes fiscais a analisar as cada vez mais disponíveis e instantâneas informações sobre a vida financeira dos contribuintes, especialmente a partir da instituição do Sistema Público de Escrituração Digital (Sped), composto pelos módulos Escrituração Contábil Digital (ECD), Escrituração Fiscal Digital (EFD) e Nota Fiscal Eletrônica (NF-e) em âmbito nacional, que passou a exigir que as informações contábeis e fiscais sejam fornecidas à Receita Federal por meio de padrões pré-determinados, formando um único ambiente virtual.<\/span><\/span>
\t <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\tAdemais, há atualmente uma integração muito maior entre as administrações tributárias nas três esferas governamentais (federal, estadual e municipal), além de parcerias com instituições como CVM, Susep e outros órgãos públicos.<\/p>\n

\tDiante dessas circunstâncias, é imperioso que as empresas tenham uma gestão tributária adequada para evitar problemas causados por divergências de informações em relação às bases de dados das autoridades fiscais municipais, estaduais e federais. Qualquer inconsistência apurada pode redundar em autuação. Em muitos casos, dependendo da gravidade do ato fiscal que gerou a autuação e do valor da penalização, uma empresa pode até ser inviabilizada financeiramente. Sem essa gestão adequada, as empresas estão expostas a riscos tributários muito importantes, que devem ser avaliados e ponderados.<\/p>\n

\tPara evitar essa delicada exposição a riscos, as companhias necessitam contar com o apoio de técnicos e especialistas que dominem as normas, regras e leis que estabelecem os princípios tributários nas três esferas de governo, e, ainda, com recursos tecnológicos que deem suporte à equilibrada gestão fiscal das empresas. O ideal é que os gestores disponham de soluções tecnológicas customizadas para atender as características de negócio e as especificidades de cada empresa.<\/p>\n

\tO desenvolvimento e a utilização de sistemas integrados de gestão empresarial de tributos são considerados hoje como elementos essenciais à boa governança das corporações. Contar com esse tipo de ferramenta que contribui para reduzir a exposição aos chamados riscos fiscais é um fator extremamente valorizado pelo mercado, melhorando, inclusive, a percepção e a avaliação positivas da instituição. Investir em controles e na redução da exposição a riscos é sempre uma atitude sábia, que pode evitar perdas muitas vezes irreversíveis.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
