\t\t\tQuestionada sobre como checa as informações do Formulário de Referência, que não é auditado, a CVM diz que a área técnica pode, se entender necessário, "solicitar esclarecimentos adicionais para concluir que as informações divulgadas são verdadeiras, completas, consistentes e que não induzam o investidor a erro".<\/p>\n

\t\t\tO órgão regulador diz que procura verificar a existência de "eventuais inconsistências no próprio documento ou entre documentos". Isso é possível porque algumas informações que constam do Formulário de Referência são semelhantes a outras que devem ser apresentadas nos balanços, sendo que esses últimos são checados por auditores.<\/p>\n

\t\t\tA CVM chama a atenção para a existência da declaração do presidente e do diretor de relações com investidores contida no Formulário, de que as informações ali divulgadas foram revisadas e são verdadeiras.<\/p>\n

\t\t\tPerguntada se as empresas podem fazer uma divulgação de maneira diferente, quando consideram que a informação fica melhor ou mais útil daquela forma, a CVM respondeu que as empresas devem "apresentar as informações tal como requeridas". Mas lembra que é possível divulgar dados "adicionais que, em conjunto, produzam um retrato verdadeiro, preciso e completo da situação econômico-financeira do emissor e dos riscos inerentes a suas atividades e dos valores mobiliários por ele emitidos".<\/em><\/span><\/span>
